Bacheldre Watermill Weddings and Events is a wedding venue on the Powys-Shropshire border of Wales and England. This one-and-a-half-acre site, complete with a 17th-century mill, a beautiful millpond, mature trees, and gently flowing streams, is an idyllic setting for a romantic wedding celebration.
The site is available for dry hire (with toilets) or we can supply a fully dressed marquee.
There is a fully dressed wedding barn available for hire if you wish to have the wedding ceremony on site.
We offer a choice of two marquees for smaller events for up to 50 people to larger events with up to 100 people seated and more for the evening do.
12 x 6 marquee for up to 50 seated guests
12 x 12 marquee for up to 100 seated guests
Add ons:-
6 x6 bar tent or dance floor, this can be separate or added to the side of you marquee
4 x 6 catering tent with a tunnel to the main marquee.
Fire pit and hay bales
Yurts and camping available for guests.
The site also includes a new heated toilet block.
We leave you the freedom to choose your own supplies.
We currently don’t have caterers onsite so people are able to choose a caterer of choice to suit the occasion and the catering tent is available if required.
We do offer a bar service, however a corkage option is also available.
We can also recommend some suppliers if required for other services such as flowers.
